Actcel Hemostatic Gauze is created from regenerated cellulose. It absorbs exudate such as blood and other bodily fluids. It helps to control bleeding for capillary wounds, arterial bleeds, tooth extractions, lacerations, nose bleeds and abrasions. Expands three times its size, causing direct pressure on the blood vessels and allowing the platelets to unite and a clot to form almost instantly.
